Since our beginning in 1981, Climec Residential Inc. has made it our priority to invest in our community, helping it grow and prosper. We believe community involvement is the key to growth and without strong community support; Climec Residential Inc. would not be the success it is today. clime Residential Inc has a long and proud tradition of corporate social responsibility. As an industry leader in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, we have placed great emphasis on reaching beyond the workplace, through corporate contributions and employee involvement.
Each year, we direct our fundraising efforts towards various sectors in an effort to help others enjoy an even better way of life. Through each of our efforts our main passion has always bee to benefit and help children.
Over the years, the company's efforts have involved many initiatives from weekly company BBQ's with proceeds being donated to the CHEO Heart Foundation, The Ottawa Humane Society and the Interval House of Ottawa (a shelter for abused women and children). As well, a silent auction at each of your company's annual golf tournament with proceeds to the Children's Wish Foundation and The Ottawa Humane Society.
In addition, Climec Residential Inc. has made substantial donations to the Manoir Ronald McDonald House, The Salvation Army, The Shepherds of Good Hope Christmas Hamper Program, the Ottawa 67's Booster Club, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, The United Way, The Ottawa Food Bank, La Maison D'Amitie (a shelter for abused women and children), SPCA, The Harvest House, as well as sponsoring various local sports teams.
As the Corporate Sponsor of the Ottawa 67's since 2000, Climec Residential Inc. has also joined the Ottawa 67's "Adopt-a-School" program which is a partnership amongst area business, local school boards and the Ottawa 67's Hockey Club wherein businesses "adopt a school" and provide season's tickets to be used as rewards for students achieving academic success or showing improvement.
On behalf of the company, our employees have donated their time and efforts to Habitat for Humanity, The Annual CHEO BBQ, The Canadian Lung Association Annual Walkathon, the Annual Drug Education Alliance of the National Capital Region parade and the Inter-Church Refugee Group.
